What is OPS?

OPS (pronounced "ops" like "operations") is an event manager that can be customized and configured for many different organizations to fit their needs. The project has several contributors that develop the system. OPS is released on the GNU General Public License "GPL", version 3. Any organization is welcome to change the architecture of the system to fit their needs.

When can I expect the "OPS Base" to be released?
